Walking Backwards

Less than a week now until national Tv Turnoff week (see this site for details). This year we're upping the ante a little bit by turning off not only our television, but also limiting our computer time as well. Since Joe is going to be secondary on-call person next week, I can't really set a time limit for him, but I'm only going to allow myself an hour of computer time after the baby has gone to bed each day and I'm probably going to cut Nico off completely. We'll see how that works. For now, I need to get into the planning stage of "what to do all day with no media stimulus". We'll probably go to the children's museum and the mall to wander around and the park, but I'm hoping to find something new for us to do this year. They print a family activity calendar for Austin that I need to get my hands on. I don't think taking Nico to the movies would be quite in the spirit of things. Hmmmmmm, must plan.
