Yesterday, Nico, Joe and I went to SeaWorld. We had quite a lot of fun just wandering around. No shows, though. The first bit of advice I have to offer to anyone going to SeaWorld is that they bring a time piece. There was no way for us to know when any of the shows started. The upside is that we do have season passes and will be able to see the shows next time. It wasn't crowded at all being the middle of the week and threatening to rain all day. We didn't have to wait in line to look at any of the exhibits and I wouldn't have had to wait for any of the rides if we had chosen to go on them. The next time we go, we'll have a better idea of what to do and where to go. Nicholas really seemed to enjoy the dolphin feeding tank but we showed up right at the beginning of their feeding time, so it was packed. Next time we'll have to get there a bit early. Some lovely pics:

After we left SeaWorld, we went to go visit Maria and Fiona. Maria's friend, Melissa, was over and we had a girlie spa night. I got to demonstrate my Body Shop products, but I am beginning to realize that direct sales just isn't for me. See, I like the spoiling, pampering part, but I don't like the selling part. I am going to still try, of course, I just am never going to be able to give the marketing speal with a straight face.

I got a call when I was out of town yesterday from Nico's preschool and he got in! Yay! I was so worried because I hadn't put him on the list in any other program and all the programs without a waiting lists were very expensive. He starts the week after Labor Day. He is one of only ten children to get into this program from a waiting list of hundreds. Its a co-op too so Joe and I will get to be involved with the school, I am beyond excited.

tomorrow is my 25th birthday and dad is coming into town to take me to lunch. Joe already baked me a cake and got me some cool stuff. I now have my own copy of the Red Tent and a step-stool from Nicholas and Carnivale recordings from Joe. Pretty swell. Now, I need to pick up something for Joe's birthday at the end of the month.
